Our vision is to become a beacon in the community where families feel supported in achieving the goals and dreams of their child.

Our Story

In 2008, our CEO Rebeka Edge became interested in Applied Behavior Analysis after her son began receiving ABA therapy. She was so impressed with the methods and science that she decided to return to school again. She attended the Florida Institute of Technology, earned a graduate certification in ABA, and became Board certified in 2010. She and her family moved to Alaska in 2010 and she opened a behavior analytic practice, Behavior Matters. Since then she has had the privilege to mentor those seeking BCBA/ BCaBA certification, develop Continuing Education Courses and train parents and professionals about the science of ABA. Behavior Matters, LLC now serves families in Anchorage & Palmer AK, Vacaville & Stockton CA, and Omaha, NE.

The mission of Behavior Matters is to use ethical, humane and empirically validated methods and strategies to teach each client so that they can reach their greatest potential and improve their quality of life through the principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis.
